STORMRIDERS - INTRODUCING OUR SISTER BRAND TO HOBART!

In case you missed it, on December 16 (yes, only one week out from Christmas, we are INSANE…we know) Red Herring started a new chapter and opened the very first Tasmanian Stormriders store in Liverpool Street.

Shout out to our amazing community who came to celebrate the store opening with us. We saw the first of our community lining up early at 7am for a 10am open!

Once the doors were opened, the store was pumping with plenty of vibes, free goodie bags, giveaways and tunes from our live DJ, and lots of fresh products for our community to shop.

So, what’s the difference between Stormriders and Red Herring?

Whilst Red Herring is a core surf store, Stormriders is built on the five pillars of Skate, Surf, Fashion, Music and Art. Since our formation in 2010, we’re constantly evolving and challenging the status quo.

Stormies is like the spoiled little sister or brother. You know the one, more freedom to do what they want mixed with a little bit of attitude. They like to surf, but they also like to skate, play guitar, and dabble in art of some form. Surf & Skate are the lifestyles that Stormriders embrace, and music and art is what inspires us.

 

Passionate employees who live and breathe the industry, coupled with fresh tunes and quality sound, all go together to provide a memorable experience for our friends and customers.

Six months ago, Stormriders Hobart was just an idea. Our team did an amazing job to get our new space up and running for our community just in time for Christmas.
