The Energy Of The Waves

Post by local photographer, Simon Treweek

I used to think waves transported water across the oceans.  I’ve since found out this isn’t actually the case.  Waves are actually energy passing through the water.

Regardless of how deep you want to think about waves, it is hard to deny their beauty.

On Sunday morning I was fortunate enough to witness and capture some of the most refined and stunning waves one could possible hope for. And, I have no doubt, as I bobbed around with my housing (not that unlike a bird sitting on top of the water) I felt the energy, and it certainly felt magical.
