16 Jan A Day In The Life: Warehouse Boys

Matt, Ben, Victor and Giles – THE RHS WAREHO– USE CREW!
6am: Coffee in hand, ready to start the day. Work through the emails and sort any issues the stores have. Also plan the day ahead!
6.30am: V turns up to replenish Hobart before they open at 9am (If he’s quick enough)
6.45am: Print the replenishment’s for the other stores and start picking!
7.30am: Ben rocks up and helps smash replenishment’s. We cover about 3ks up and down the aisles picking the stock.
10am: V buys the coffees to keep everyone going.
11am: Replenishment’s done, time to smash out some fresh stock. Lots of deliveries in also – and when the trucks back in someone always wants to get in or out so it gets pretty hectic.
12pm: Lunchtime – healthy options of course.
2pm: With all the fresh stock processed, it’s time to scan it all up and get it out to the stores. Scan and pack, scan and pack – we do our best to make sure everything gets to you in top shape.
2.30pm: V shows up for his second shift! After going upstairs for a ‘quick trip’ and returning 3 hours later after serving flat out.
3pm: With all the stocked processed, scanned and sent. It’s time to clean up. Is it bin night? And if so which bins? #1 rule – DON’T FORGET THE BINS! Head home for an early night so we can do it all again tomorrow!
